If the lifting height is increased, the drum will be lengthened, and the wire rope electric hoist volume is several times or even ten times larger than the electric chain hoist of the same specification.
 
1.2 lifting height
 
The wire rope of the wire rope electric hoist is wound on the reel and elastically deformed. The side of the reel is subjected to pressure, and the corresponding surface is subjected to tension. The smaller the diameter of the reel, the larger the deformation of the wire rope, and the corresponding surface of the wire rope is affected. The greater the pressure and tension. In order for the force to not exceed the allowable stress of the wire rope, the diameter of the drum is made larger so that the deformation of the wire rope is not excessive. To this end, the design specification requires that the diameter of the drum of the electric hoist should not be less than 20 times the diameter of the rope. The connection of the electric chain hoist chain is hinged between the links, and the chain is mainly subjected to tension. In order to reduce the crushing strength between the links and between the link and the sprocket, the sprocket of the electric chain hoist is generally made of 5 or 6 nests, and is also made when the lifting weight and lifting speed are small. 4 nests. For the above reasons, the wire rope electric hoist drum and the rope wheel on the hook are far larger than the sprocket diameter on the electric hoist sprocket and the hook of the same specification. In this way, the pitch of the electric chain hoist hooks is smaller than the hook spacing of the electric hoist of the same specification. That is to say, the lifting height of the orbital electric chain hoist of the same height is greater than the lifting height of the electric rope hoist.
 
1.3 running distance
 
The running wire rope electric hoist axis is parallel to the center line of the wire rope electric hoist trolley running track, and the center line of the chain electric hoist axis and the running track can be installed at 90°. Thus, in the same situation and the same track length, the electric chain hoist has a larger running distance than the wire rope electric hoist. Even if the HH axis is installed in parallel with the center line of the running track, the running distance of the electric chain hoist is much larger than that of the wire rope electric hoist because of the small axial dimension of the electric chain hoist. When the wire rope electric hoist has a large elevation, its reel is longer, so the running distance will be more affected.
 
1.4 accuracy
 
When the wire rope electric hoist is hoisted, since the wire rope is axially wound on the reel, the hook will be horizontally displaced along the axis of the electric hoist. The greater the lifting height, the more the number of windings of the wire rope on the reel, and the greater the horizontal displacement of the hook. Regardless of the height of the chain hoist, the hook will be along the vertical line of the chain, that is, the HH hook can be accurately positioned.
